How you would answer someone who has questions about the benefits of quality, supervised & structured youth sports activities?
Olympic stars Carl & Carol Lewis began their careers in the youth program
of the Willingboro (NJ) Track Club. That organization was co-founded by their
parents Bill and Evelyn Lewis with some of their concerned neighbors and has
served several thousand young people over the decades.

Carl and Carol Lewis have qualified for the United States Olympic team eight times between them from 1980 to 1996. Their stellar careers are well documented. Carl Lewis has been honored as "Male Athlete of the Century" by the IAAF (the world governing body for Track & Field) and "Olympian of the Century" by Sports Illustrated magazine.
Meanwhile, in a historic 1-2-3 finish, all three positions for one Olympic event were claimed by members of one family. (You guessed it, they too began their careers in quality youth sports activities.) They also have qualified eight times between them for the Olympics over the years.
